About the Henry and Rachel Ackman Scholarship: Study Abroad or Exchange

The Henry and Rachel Ackman Scholarship is awarded annually to support a period of Study Abroad or Exchange of at least one semester duration at an international school of architecture.

This scholarship cannot be used for travel within a subject (eg Venice Studio).

Up to four one-off scholarships of AU$8,000 will be offered to students currently enrolled in a postgraduate coursework Architecture program (singe or double). The scholarship is not intended to, but may cover all associated costs.

Students must have have completed at least one year of study at masters level before travelling. The Study Abroad or Exchange period should be undertaken prior to the completion of their masters.

Incomplete applications and/or applications received after the closing date will not be considered.

This section of the application form is designed to help you, and us, understand if you are eligible for this scholarship. It is crucial that you complete these questions before any others to ensure you do not waste your time applying for an unsuitable scholarship.

  • I will have completed at least 100 points of my masters program prior to travel in 2025
