Steve Calhoun was a Professorial Fellow at the University of Melbourne between 2002 and 2012. He has more than forty years’ experience in landscape architecture and urban design, and played a major design role for works such as Southgate, Deakin University, Newcastle Foreshore, Tarrawarra Vineyard (Yarra Valley), Laguna Quays Resort, QUT (Brisbane) and the Cairns Esplanade (2003 winner of the Australian Award for Urban Design Excellence).
The Steve Calhoun Scholarship offers recipients the chance to travel in order to advance their research to obtain data and source material.
The scholarship will provide one (or more) student funding for travel interstate or overseas to undertake independent research towards the completion of ABPL90375 Landscape Architecture Design Thesis.
