The Macdonald Scholarship aims to promote advancement and leadership in the Australian architecture profession by offering students an opportunity, through travel, to acquire professional experience, build professional relationships and expand their mentoring skills.

The scholarship is for travel in 2026 to support work placement opportunities. It does not fund Study Abroad or Exchange programs.

One scholarship of approximately AU$6,000 will be offered to a student in the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning to provide travel and living costs for the duration of an international industry-based internship. The scholarship is not intended to, but may cover all associated costs.

 

Incomplete applications and/or applications received after the closing date will not be considered.
